Scenario 1: Automotive Parts Manufacturer · Line-side Auto Delivery & Finished Goods Inbound
Background
Automotive parts plants handle many material types with limited line-side storage. Manual forklift delivery often delays production lines. Cross-floor finished goods inbound relies on manual handling—slow and error-prone.
Collaborative Process
- After inbound, raw materials are stored in the AS/RS and locations are auto-assigned.
- AGF forklifts retrieve full pallets per production plans and deliver precisely to designated line feeding points.
- After production, AMRs move finished goods bins to vertical lifts or spiral conveyors for automated cross-floor transport to the first-floor finished goods warehouse.
- First-floor sorting diverts by product model; AGFs or AMRs move goods to shipping zones for automated truck loading.
Result
Raw material delivery syncs with line takt. Cross-floor finished goods flow needs no manual intervention—smooth, accurate, and fully traceable.
